An Evening of Hope, Healing & Freedom
Join us for a luminous evening celebrating the strength and resilience of women who have overcome the darkest chapters of their lives and the community that helps them rise.
The Love & Light Gala benefits Magdalene House of Austin , a two-year residential program that provides safe housing, trauma-informed care, and life-skills programs for women recovering from human trafficking and exploitation. Together, we’re creating pathways to freedom and lasting change.
Why It Matters
Every ticket, every table, and every bid directly supports women rebuilding their lives through Magdalene House of Austin’s life-changing programs: therapy, education, professional development, and long-term community support.
This gala isn’t just an event. It’s a declaration:
Love heals. Light restores. Freedom is possible.
Be Part of the Light
Reserve your table or ticket today and help illuminate the path toward freedom for survivors of trafficking in our community.
Because when we gather in love and light, transformation begins.
Keynote Speaker Introduction
We are honored to welcome Siobhan Alexis , a survivor leader, advocate, and powerful voice for healing and hope.
Siobhan currently serves as a Drop-In Manager for a survivor-serving program, where she works daily alongside individuals rebuilding their lives after trafficking and exploitation. Her work is grounded in compassion, lived experience, and a deep commitment to strengthening systems of care for survivors.
Siobhan began her public speaking journey as a TEDx speaker in Austin in 2020, and since then has shared her story and expertise across the state of Texas. She has presented at the Texas Network of Youth Services Conference, the Department of Family and Protective Services Light the Way Conference, and the T exas Crime Stoppers Conference, among many other community and professional spaces. In 2024, she was also recognized by Austin Woman Magazine as an “ ATX Woman to Watch.”
Through her speaking and advocacy, Siobhan brings insight into the complex intersections of trafficking, recovery, and healing — always with the goal of building understanding, expanding compassion, and improving long-term support for survivors.
Most importantly, Siobhan speaks from a place of transformation. She shares not only where she has been, but who she has become — offering a message rooted in resilience, restoration, and the power of healing when the right support is present.
