Welcome to Lake Travis SEPAC (Special Education Parent Advisory Council). We are excited about this opportunity for you to support the Lake Travis special education student community. Over 2,700 students attending Lake Travis schools receive services through Special Education or a Section 504 Plan. The mission of our organization, Lake Travis SEPAC, is to:
- Advocate for an innovative and inclusive educational environment where children with disabilities are provided with the resources necessary to reach their optimum potential;
- Advise Lake Travis ISD on the operation and development of special education programs, parent and teacher training needs, and help develop policy;
- Create a network of parents and caregivers of children with special needs to provide support and facilitate effective communication between parents, students, and the school district.
Parents in the LTISD district have been reaching out to us for referrals for services and providers for their special education students. They are looking for healthcare providers, educational services, therapeutic services, adaptive equipment and assistive technology, transportation services, assessment services, doctors, dentists, therapists, psychologists, and educational evaluators. We would love to provide them with a directory of sponsors that can help guide them to supports within the community.
Our Sponsored Providers Directory is a one-year listing for $100. This directory will be posted and pinned in our Lake Travis SEPAC Facebook group, shared at parent and family meetups, and included in our parent email blasts. We hope to include you in this directory.
