Kids In Distress (KID) and Family Central Inc (FCI) serve more than 20,000 children and families each year.

For decades, KID and FCI have been at the forefront of child welfare in South Florida, evolving from an emergency shelter into a premier network of foster care, adoption, and family preservation services. We believe that keeping families stable and giving children a safe, nurturing environment is a community effort. Each year DJ Battle brings our community together for a common purpose: to amplify our impact. Proceeds from the event directly support our foster families and specialized group homes, turning the energy on the dance floor into life-changing support, resources, and stability for local foster children.
