We’re racing for a reason, and we need YOUR help to make a SPLASH!

During this time of the year Joe Jacobs would be reaching out to you to support him in the Annual Duck Fest Derby fundraising campaign to support Kids in Distress which supports at risk youths and families in the South Florida community. This organization was very near and dear to Joe, his wife Ellen and their 3 daughters and they supported KID in countless ways over the years.  This is year 2 of me honoring Joe with a DuckFest Team and I would so appreciate your support of this worthy organization. 

It has been almost 2 years since Joe’s passing, and he is still missed every day.  As you probably recall, Joe was a professional mentor to me along with a great friend and confidant as I’m sure he was to many of you.  I continue to serve on the Board of Directors for K.I.D. and it continues to be a meaningful way to give back to the community. Ellen and the girls continue to lead fantastic lives in South Florida and she spends a ton of time with her 5 grandkids on a regular basis.  Hudson, Sally, Baby Joe, Cade and James are all blessings for their parents and Ellen.

Please continue to help me support Joe’s legacy with the 2026 Duck Fest campaign.  Joe raised over $100,000 in over a decade of work supporting Duck Fest and Kids in Distress organization which was supported by all your generosity.  Ducks cost $5 dollars and if you so choose you can buy as many as you like.  If your duck wins the race you will win a $10,000 CASH prize!!! I know that with all of the friends in Joe’s network and my network we should be able to beat the goal I have set of helping raise $10,000 for at risk youth in the South Florida community in 2026.
