IPDC Corporate Sponsorship Campaign

Imagine a group of kids from different cultures, ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds. These kids represent a myriad of neighborhoods located in the south side of Chicago. Though very different, almost in every way, this group shares the love and passion for the art of dance.

Five years ago, Pia Hamilton desired to take her passion for dance to the next level.  Already having a successful dance studio, Pia had a vision to create a multicultural performance dance company that would service dancers from different parts of the south side of Chicago.  Birthed from her desire to give kids, who love to dance, a place to sharpen their talent and express themselves came Intrigue Performance Dance Company.

Intrigue Performance Dance Company (IPDC) is a 501c(3) non-profit dance company of 53 dancers between the ages of 5 and 16 years old. Dancers are hand picked because of their ability, work ethic, and dedication.  IPDC dancers use the art of dance to bring awareness to issues like, poverty, inclusion, diversity, violence, and mental health.  Using ballet as the foundation for all other genres of dance, IPDC dancers follow a strict guideline in dance classes, rehearsals, and home practice, taking their craft to the next level.  IPDC has performed in dance competitions, dance conventions and shows around the city. As a company, IPDC has won many awards and has been invited to compete at a national and international level.  In addition, many of our dancers have been nationally recognized and invited to participate in TV shows like “The Big Leap” and “JoJo Siwa Dance Pop Revolution”.  However, even with all the success, a lot of our dancers have not been able to take advantage of the opportunities they have worked so hard for. The average cost per dancer, for the year, is 3,000 dollars.  So far we have been able to provide 12 dancers with partial scholarships, however many more of our dancers need money for scholarships, travel expenses, and competition fees. We would like to be able to give more scholarships to our dancers in need, as well as help with travel expenses and competition fees.  In order to do this, we humbly ask for your support.

With your partnership, we will be able to provide more of our extraordinary hard-working dancers with the funds needed to take advantage of all the opportunities IPDC dancers are offered.  Over the last 5 years, a lot of our talented dancers have had to decline opportunities, because of the lack of money.  We invite you to partner with us by sponsoring Intrigue Performance Dance Company during the 2022-23 dance season.

Thank you for your consideration of our request. A sponsor form is enclosed for you to complete, and you may return the form either through email or mail.  One of our fundraising volunteers will follow up with you once we are in receipt of your response.
