Founded in 2022 by Jenna Taylor, a passionate advocate and Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Independent Identity was born from a dream: to create a safe, vibrant place where adults with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) can thrive. Jenna saw a critical gap in services for adults with complex needs and challenging behaviors—so she built a program that didn’t just "accept" them but celebrated them.

Today, Independent Identity is more than just a program—it’s a community.
Each day, our clients work toward greater independence, learning critical life skills, connecting with peers, and discovering their unique strengths. From cooking and communication to job readiness and community outings, our evidence-based services help clients of all abilities achieve meaningful growth.
