We are looking for volunteers to come to Doug's House and help clean up the backyard area! Doug's House, run by Project Transitions, is a residential hospice for people living with HIV. It is the only HIV hospice facility in Central Texas. Their services include 24-hour care from social workers, caregivers, and a registered nurse including all medical and medication coordination, meals, personal care, and social service support. They also provide training on end-of-life care for residents and family memebrs. What a valuable institution in our community.
