Healing Farms is a local non-profit that exists to provide hope and opportunity to the special needs community.  Our vision is to see a community inspired and empowered to see ABILITY first, not disability.  To put it simply, we have a heart for helping our participants and a passion for teaching the community ways that they can include, support, and love the special needs community also.  Our adult day program helps students as they transition out of high school into adult life.

How it Works:

Most young adults with disabilities don't follow a traditional path after high school and many end up at home or in an adult day care not suited to thier needs.  Rather than going to a "place" and performing a "task", Healing Farms helps participants find their place and purpose by focusing on their gifts, talents, and abiilites. Our day program not only provides participants with opportunities to build independent living and life skills but also keeps them out in the community so they can continue to develop these skills and share them with others.

Through our day programming, summer camps, social gatherings and unified events we are changing the future of what's possible for young adults with disABILITIES.
