2023 Noche de Gala
This year marks the 46th anniversary of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City. We are honored to serve the Hispanic business community at this event and invite you to sponsor the 46th Gala to celebrate the "Power of Us"
WHO WE ARE
The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City was founded in 1977 by 25 Hispanic business leaders led by Hector Barreto, Sr., who envisioned the need for an organization that would represent the interests of the Hispanic business community before the public and private sectors.
In 7979, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City became the founding Chamber of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce promotes the economic growth and development of its member businesses and the Hispanic community, as well as relationships between Hispanic businesses and the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan area community.
We work both locally and nationally to develop a network that provides Hispanic businesses cohesion and strength. Under the current leadership, we are now founders of the National Federation of Latino Chambers of Commerce and Associations, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. We will continue to engage, consult and develop Hispanic Chambers across the country, as did our founders.

Presenting Apuesto! With its inaugural 2023 release, a collaboration with Código distillery. This masterpiece was aged in Napa Valley Cabernet French Oak Barrels, a historic technique favored by the Ocampo family. Unlike conventional tequila aging in whiskey barrels, we've embraced tradition, setting a new standard.
Apuesto tequila stands as a tribute to heritage and flavor. Classified as a lowland tequila, it boasts a unique profile, ranging from herbal and peppery to floral and citrusy. Each sip is an exploration of nature's finest, capturing the essence of the sun-kissed fields and aromatic gardens.

Selekto Show has graced the music scene since 2020, enchanting audiences across festivals, private soirées, upscale restaurants, and exclusive special events. Renowned for our dynamic fusion of musical styles, including the entrancing rhythms of bachata, the fiery beats of salsa, the infectious groove of cumbia, the urban vibes of reggaetón, and even the electrifying strains of rock en español, we curate an unparalleled musical experience.
Guided by the visionary prowess of Miguel Torres, who not only spearheads the ensemble but also commands the rhythmic foundation as the band's accomplished drummer. The ensemble's sonic tapestry is further enriched by the virtuosity of guitarist Aleksy Torres, whose strings weave melodic tales. Saxophonist David Ramirez adds a sophisticated flair, while the heartbeat of our sound is meticulously upheld by bass virtuoso Eduardo Garcia. Edgar Zabdial lends his prowess as the second guitarist, infusing an extra layer of depth.
The rhythmic intricacies are heightened by the skilled hands of percussionists Migue Buenano and Byron Buenano, whose synergy sets the stage ablaze. And commanding the spotlight is our lead vocalist, Wennely Quezada, a luminary recognized not only for gracing the American Idol stage but also for enthralling audiences in Tengo Mucho Talento.
