Your monthly gift helps provide medications, equipment, nursing care, and other essential hospice services to patients and families in our community.

For 58 years, Tom Leonard shared his life with his beloved wife, Paula. Together, they built a beautiful life and a family that grew to include three children, seven grandchildren and two devoted great-granddaughters.

Through the years, their family grew, their love endured, and Tom says he feels “truly blessed” for the life they shared.

Today, that love continues through the family they built and the legacy Paula leaves behind.

Paula lived with carcinoid cancer for 22 years, facing her journey with courage, grace and unwavering faith.

On Mother's Day, May 10, 2026, at the age of 80, Paula passed away at the Dr. Jay Weil Center for Hospice Care, surrounded by her family and the Gulfside caregivers who supported her during her final days.

Tom's passion is simple: to inspire others to give monthly in Paula's memory so Gulfside can continue caring for families in our community.

Through the Paula Leonard Monthly Giving Fund, Tom is inviting family, friends, Team Leonard and others to turn Paula's legacy into lasting support for Gulfside's mission.

A monthly gift of $20 becomes $240 in one year, enough to provide more than a full day of hospice care at home for a patient in need.

Gulfside Hospice is a nonprofit organization providing compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients and families throughout Pasco, Pinellas and Hillsborough counties.

Our mission is to provide compassionate care to patients and their families, while serving our communities through education and outreach.

Gulfside's hospice care includes medical care and symptom management, medications and medical equipment, emotional and spiritual support, and counseling and support for patients' loved ones.
