In Loving Memory of Frances (Tina) G. Silvestri

March 20, 1943 – July 29, 2026

Frances (Tina) G. Silvestri, 83, of Trinity, Florida, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, devotion, and cherished memories.

Born on March 20, 1943, in New Hyde Park, Long Island, New York, to Fran and Dom Genovese, Frances was a proud graduate of New Hyde Park Memorial High School. She raised her family in Port Washington, NY and built a dedicated career working for many years at Dime Savings Bank (later Chase), where she was known for her diligence and kindness.

In 2002, Frances made Trinity, Florida, her home alongside her beloved husband of many years, John R. Silvestri, who predeceased her on July 28, 2022. Above all else, Frances treasured her family and friends. She was an exceptional cook who loved bringing people together around the table, an avid golfer, and an enthusiastic mahjong player who shared countless laughs with her tight-knit circle of friends. A passionate sports fan, she could always be counted on to cheer enthusiastically for her beloved New York Yankees. Frances also cherished the wonderful adventures she shared traveling to Italy with her late husband and friends to visit family.

Frances is survived by her loving children: her daughter, Lisa Marie of Frankfurt, Germany, and her son, John P. Silvestri (daughter-in-law Beth Ann Silvestri) of Tuckahoe, New York. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to her grandsons, John and Ben Silvestri, who brought immense joy to her life.

A small memorial service will be held in Trinity, Florida, on Friday, August 7th. A celebration of life will also be held in the New York area in the early fall to honor her memory with family and friends closer to the northeast.
