🍴 Grow Local South Texas presents: Cook Local Summer Camps 2025!
Calling all young chefs! Grow Local South Texas invites kids ages 8–12 to a week of fun, food, and hands-on learning at the Antonio E. Garcia Center. Campers will cook with fresh local ingredients, develop real kitchen skills, and build confidence in a supportive, delicious environment with guidance from our staff and guest chefs.

Session 1: July 7–11 (M-F)
Session 2: July 21–25 (M-F)
⏰ Time: 9:00 AM – 12:45 PM
📍 Location: Antonio E. Garcia Center | 2021 Agnes St.
Camp activities include:

We’re looking for sponsors to help make our summer camp a success for local kids! Your support provides hands-on learning, fresh ingredients, and all the tools campers need to grow their cooking skills.
Sponsorship Levels
🍎 Scholarship Sponsor — $125
Help send a child to camp with a full or partial scholarship.
🥕 Ingredient Sponsor — $200
Provide fresh, local ingredients for campers to cook with.
🍳 Equipment & Activity Sponsor — $300
Fund kitchen tools, aprons, and supplies, plus support fun camp activities like garden lessons and cooking demos.
👨🍳 Chef & Guest Speaker Sponsor — $500
Support the talented chefs and guest educators who lead cooking demos, nutrition talks, and hands-on lessons. This tier helps cover honorariums, prep time, and specialty ingredients.
