2021 is coming to a close, and while we aren't done with the pandemic quite yet, we are starting to get back to in-person events. But if we've learned anything from the last 21 months, it's that we can do so much more fundraising and outreach online! Especially to include our supporters and alumni who no longer live in the Central Valley. 

As December 31st inches closer and closer, we want to remind you that anything you are able to donate to the WHS Foundation, whether it be $5 or $500, is TAX-DEDUCTIBLE! It just must be received by 11:59pm PST on December 31st! You may also mail us a check as always, and just include a note which scholarship you would like it to go to:

This December we want to redouble our efforts to increase our scholarship funds. We want to raise $5,000! Did you know we have over 50 scholarships you can give to? Do you have a passion for math? We have scholarships for that! Or were you a music major and want to support future music students? There are scholarships for them too! Please visit our scholarship page and either click on one of the categories or do a search for your own major, interests, or even a loved one, and you are able to donate DIRECTLY to that scholarship! Don't see a scholarship that fits you, why not start your own? Use the same link and head to the bottom of the page for details. 

And we're trying something new, Team Fundraising! Which means you can gather friends, family, co-workers and create your own team to raise money. Click "Create a Fundraiser" under the donation buttons near the top of the page to get started. You can ask them to join your team to raise funds for a specific scholarship or for the general fund. We know this will be especially useful for our many Family and Memorial Scholarships. The holiday season isn't always about the things we get under the Christmas tree, but the love we share with each other, and what better way to celebrate the season than with a gift in a loved one's name?

Any monies raised from our end of year campaign that don't have a scholarship name requested will be placed into the General Scholarship Fund, which our own scholarship committee will then decide how to award to our 2022 Seniors this year.
