I am delighted to announce that the event of the season is upon us! The Queen’s most decadent, and exclusive art soiree will be held on the evening of Friday the 10th of May.
For those of you who are new to our court, or have been living under a rock, allow me to paint a picture for you of why this invitation is so coveted. The Atelier will be transformed for the evening into a lavish scene of spectacular opulence. Imagine ceilings and walls draped in cascading flora and silk. A magnificent floral centerpiece will be presented as still life inspiration along with an assortment of only the richest paints, pastels and textured paper. A sumptuous array of decadent sweets and savory treats will be served as well, to be enjoyed with sparkling wine and a selection of the finest teas of course. The air will be thick with the melodic strings of Madame Tereva, the maestro of the violin. All secrets and rumors will be illuminated by candlelight.
I have it on good authority that the queen herself will be selecting only 15 of the Ton’s most eligible and enthusiastic donors to the Bash fundraiser. If you are lucky enough to procure an invitation, a word of friendly advice dear reader; dress for the occasion is strongly encouraged!
