Friends,

We have just learned something truly extraordinary. A company that The Chris Murzin Foundation is currently working with retains location-based data going back eight years—which means they still have data from February 2021! This is remarkable, as most companies retain this type of information for only two or three years at most.

This discovery has prompted The Chris Murzin Foundation February 2021 Data for Justice Initiative—an effort that supports the acquisition and analysis of historical location-based data that may provide new investigative leads in unsolved homicide cases from February 2021. This initiative reflects the Foundation’s commitment to responsible, evidence-based collaboration with law enforcement and to ensuring families are not left without answers simply because time has passed.

This breakthrough gives us the opportunity to purchase and analyze data to identify devices that were in the vicinity of Chris’s homicide. Our sincere prayer is that these digital footprints will provide the Dallas Police Department and the Texas Rangers with new leads—and, ultimately, possible suspects in Chris’s case.

Even more incredible, the company knows we are using this data to pursue answers in unsolved cases, and they have agreed to sell us the entire month of February 2021 at cost—$60,000. While this is a significant amount of money, this data will not only support Chris’s case but may also help other families whose loved ones were killed in February 2021 and whose cases remain unsolved. We already know of at least three unsolved homicides in Dallas from that month, as well as others across Texas.

Finding a company that still holds this data—and is willing to provide it at cost—is truly the miracle we have been praying for. While we cannot guarantee it will solve Chris’s case, it represents the greatest hope we have had in finding the person who killed him.

This journey has been long, painful, and at times overwhelming, but we have never stopped believing that answers are possible. This data is the closest we have ever been to finding the truth—not just for Chris, but for other families still waiting for justice.

We are asking, from the deepest part of our hearts, for your help. Please consider supporting The Chris Murzin Foundation February 2021 Data for Justice Initiative and sharing it with anyone who might feel called to give. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer. All contributions are tax deductible.

Together, we can do what none of us can do alone. Together, we can bring light to the darkness and hope to families who have been waiting far too long.

Thank you for your love, your prayers, and your continued support. It means more than you will ever know.
