Don't miss out on this DAZZLING evening of community & DANCE, as Waco Stars & their Pro Partners bring the Best of Broadway to the stage in support of the Family Abuse Center.

Eddie Mazanec is a proud multi-generational Wacoan and a key leader at Mazanec Construction, a family-owned business where he has worked since 2012. Before returning to Waco in late 2011, Eddie built a strong foundation in commercial construction, contributing to major projects such as the House of Blues in Dallas and the Experimental Science Building at the University of Texas at Austin while working for a large construction firm.

During his time in Dallas, Eddie met his wife, Jessica. The couple later moved to Austin before ultimately settling in Waco, where they’ve made their home and are raising their four children: MJ, Olivia, Mabel, and Edward.

Since rejoining the family business, Eddie has played a vital role in modernizing operations and driving growth at Mazanec Construction. He has enhanced internal processes, streamlined project management through the implementation of modern software tools, and strengthened client relationships—most notably with Baylor University. Under his leadership, the company has completed over $30 million in campus projects over the past decade.

Eddie has also elevated Mazanec Construction’s public presence by leading its social media efforts. Through regular photo updates and behind-the-scenes looks at ongoing projects, he has created a unique connection between the community and the built environment—earning praise for making construction progress both accessible and engaging.

Outside of work, Eddie enjoys spending time outdoors with his family—whether hiking in Cameron Park, biking through their North Waco neighborhood, or visiting their family ranch in Goldthwaite, Texas. His commitment to family, community, and quality craftsmanship continues to shape both his personal life and professional legacy in Waco.
