For the past 20 years, one of the most joyful (and yes… quietly competitive) traditions in our lives has been Duck Fest Derby.
Tiffani and I haven’t missed a single one.

We’ve stood side by side watching thousands of bright yellow ducks race down Fort Lauderdale's New River—cheering, laughing, and celebrating something much bigger than a finish line. Because behind every duck is a child, a family, and a story that’s still being written.
This year feels different.
This year feels like Homecoming.
And it will be our last Duck Fest before we step into our next chapter.
So we’re going to do what we’ve always done… just a little louder, a little prouder, and with a whole lot of heart.
We’re racing for a reason, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support Kids In Distress and Family Central—two extraordinary organizations serving more than 20,000 children and families each year through:
-
Foster Care & Adoption Support
-
Early Childhood Education & Preschool Readiness
-
Family Strengthening & Community-Based Services
Every $5 duck you adopt may look small… but it carries something powerful.
It carries safety.
It carries opportunity.
It carries the reminder that someone cares enough to show up.
And yes—your duck might even win a prize (we fully support strategic duck selection and a little friendly trash talk).
But the real win?
Knowing you helped change the trajectory of a child’s life.
So if you’ve ever wanted to be part of something that is equal parts meaningful, memorable, and just plain fun…
This is your moment.
Adopt a duck. Join our flock. Help us change lives—one quack at a time.
And help us make this final Duck Fest one that truly makes a splash.
