Desserts First is one of Lubbock’s sweetest fundraising traditions! This signature event brings together community members and supporters for an evening of decadent desserts, each one creatively inspired by iconic Girl Scout Cookies. Local chefs and bakers showcase their talents by reimagining cookies like Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, and Lemonades into unique culinary creations for guests to enjoy.
The event is more than a night of indulgence—it’s a celebration of community support for Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains. Funds raised through Desserts First ensure that girls across the South Plains have access to leadership development, STEM education, outdoor adventure, and life skills programs, regardless of their financial circumstances.
