A Brand New Start,
Carried Forward
A legacy gift to Dallas 24 Hour Club is a meaningful way to help ensure that individuals experiencing homelessness have a safe place to begin rebuilding their lives through recovery for generations to come.

Founding Member: Doug Bailey
Doug Bailey understood the power of recovery, service, and A Brand New Start. During his lifetime, he named Dallas 24 Hour Club as the sole beneficiary of his will, which is why he is the founding member of our Pay It Forward Club
After attending the Texas Chefs Culinary Program at El Centro, Doug built a successful culinary career and achieved 26 years of sobriety. He was known for welcoming newcomers, serving his recovery community, and using his culinary talents to bring people together.
In recognition of his generous legacy gift and lifelong connection to the culinary profession, Dallas 24 Hour Club renamed its Kitchen Training Program the Doug Bailey Culinary Training Program.

Through this program, Doug’s legacy continues to provide Residents with hands-on training, practical skills, confidence, and opportunities for a more independent future. His generosity will help carry A Brand New Start forward for generations to come.
