Why Trevor's Place Matters
Trevor’s Place is a vital new space for Dallas 24 Hour Club. This 6,336 square foot facility creates opportunities to deliver much-needed wrap-around services that are essential for helping break through barriers to long-term sobriety and successful independent living. Trevor’s Place will provide a welcoming space for Residents, Alumni, and community members to gather, learn, and grow together.
Trevor's Place will include:
-
Life skills and job training
-
Legal advocacy and resource connections
-
A library and computer lab
-
Fitness space to promote well-being
-
Community gathering space to fight isolation and build connection
By bringing these services under one roof in a community setting, Trevor’s Place fosters connection, combats isolation, and creates a more holistic experience for everyone we serve.

In Gratitude to Our Partners & In-Kind Donors
Trevor’s Place is being brought to life through the extraordinary generosity of HKS Architects and Gordon Highlander.
The design team at HKS has created an environment where supportive spaces and areas for respite will promote healing, community, and recovery. Citizen HKS, the firm’s community impact program, selected Trevor’s Place as a recipient of its Citizen HKS Grant, awarding $50,000 and hosting a fundraising campaign that ultimately contributed $78,000 in support of the project. As they shared in their award letter, "We believe yours is an exemplary project that illustrates the potential of design to create positive social change. We hope it will help an exemplar project get a push to the finish line."
"What an amazing opportunity for design to support journeys to new lives and possibilities. We hope our curation of supportive social spaces and areas for respite play an impactful role in healing," says Lisa Adams, Director of Citizen HKS and Sustainable Design Leader, Interiors Principal.
Gordon Highlander, led by Founder and CEO Greg Gordon, an advocate for The 24, has provided construction services and secured in-kind or discounted services from subcontractors across the community.
"Nobody is above saving. What we are doing here is what The 24 does every day. We are giving an old building hope, so it can help give hope to the people who will walk through its doors," says Josh Burnett, Assistant Project Manager, Gordon Highlander.
This project was also made possible through the generosity, skill, and heart of many other individuals and organizations. We are proud to recognize the following partners and donors who helped bring Trevor’s Place to life.
