CRV is a rare disease that causes the progressive loss of tiny blood vessels, resulting in mini strokes in the brain. There is no treatment or cure at this time. Patients, who usually have no symptoms until their early 40s, have a life expectancy of 5 to 10 years following diagnosis or first onset of symptoms. In a family that carries the CRV gene, 50 percent of the children will inherit the disease. As many of you know, we lost our sweet Kim Morey (61) this year due to this dreadful disease. Before that, this disease took Kims father, Danny Garrison at the age of 49. At this time, Kims oldest son, Tyrus has been diagnosed with CRV, and possibilities for Kims other two children, Ashton and Nate remain 50/50. With two hospitals across the nation actively working on finding a cure, it's our time to step in and help fund this process. (People typically name them after co-workers, something related to your industry, or after family. It's silly and meant to have fun with!)
