Kena's request came to us from her daughter-in-law's mother.  Kena is a hardworking woman who has faced so much. A cancer survivor with many medical challenges, she continues to work hard despite losing her husband to dementia three years ago. With her son living out of state, she’s been doing her best to maintain her home but has reached a point where she needs help.

• Her most urgent need is electrical – Many lights don’t work, some flicker, and all the outlets need replacing. This is a serious safety concern.
• Flooring – Much of her home has old or missing carpet.
• Painting – Every room needs a fresh coat.

Kena has done what she can, even purchasing some materials, but she simply doesn’t have the means to complete the work. This is an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus!
