We're going to Paula's in Burnet, and we need you in a big way.  Paula's house is not safe for her! We believe the Lord led us there deliberately and for his will to be done.  We will be reconstructing a bathroom, putting on new siding, replacing rotted subfloor, making a kitchen usable, and doing lots of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and more.  At the suggestion of some of you, we will also be conducting "extended" serve days and working into the afternoon, since the commute is longer for most of our volunteers and there is much work to be done.  Consider coming for all or part of the day, but make sure you come; it will surely be a blessing to you.

Ms. Paula is the hard-working, loving Mom of one of Cornerstone's amazing Business Partners.  She has worked hard her whole life, including raising her children mostly as a single parent.  She, into retirement age, continues to work hard to make ends meet.  Her home, where she raised her family, is falling apart around her.  When you drive up, it is a cute home with a well-maintained yard, where you can see love lives, walk inside,  see the pride she takes in it,  the photos of her family, and feel the love!  Look closely and you will see the walls have holes allowing the outside to come in, open the cabinets under the sink and view the backyard, many electrical outlets no longer work due to electrical fires caused simply by plugging something in.  Let's show Christ's love by  coming together to rebuild her home, making it safe for her, her children, and her grandchildren!
