Cornerstone is teaming up with long-term partner ministry - Rio Bravo and recently added ministry partner Kaleo International ministry. Rio Bravo takes in abandoned, neglected or abused children in Reynosa, Mexico, and provides them with food, housing and a faith-based education. At any given moment, 60 children live on-campus being served by house parents that care for them. Additionally, Rio Bravo has built multiple schools from elementary through high school to serve not only children on-site, but the Reynosa community at large. 

Here’s the current list of projects:

Kitchen:

• Construction of the center island - including running water, drainage & electric.

• Installation of sliding serving windows

• Installation of wall cabinets

Outdoor Lighting:

• Replacement of outdoor dusk-to-dawn floodlights

  • 4 houses (6 lights per house) = 24 lights

  • Additional 15 lights for other buildings, including dormitories, offices, and workshop apartments

  • Total: nearly 40 lights

Bathrooms:

• Updating fixtures like faucets

• Painting and cabinet repairs

Kid Rooms:

• Removing old carpeting and replacing it with laminate or faux wood flooring

Cornerstone will continue to provide assistance at both of these Ministries this upcoming trip as well as pursue additional Outreach and maintenance in the Reynosa community. Stay Tuned....More Details To Come!
