Chadwick Brooks serves as the Assistant Vice President of Institutional Advancement at the Kansas City Art Institute, where he champions fundraising and community engagement to advance art and design education. A passionate advocate for equity in education and healthcare, Chadwick is also the President of the Board of Directors at KC Care Health Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring accessible, inclusive healthcare for all.

With over 25 years of experience in Kansas City's creative and nonprofit communities, Chadwick has made a significant impact through event production, fundraising, and leadership. His commitment to fostering equality stems from a deep belief that education and healthcare are fundamental rights, and he works to create opportunities for underrepresented communities.

A classically trained clarinetist and bass clarinetist who studied at the UMKC Conservatory of Music, Chadwick is also a public figure in the Kansas City arts scene. You may have seen him on stage around town in Late Night Theatre wild camp performances, including Golden! Girls Gone Wild!!! as Betty White’s Rose, Designed Woman as Delta Burke’s Suzanne Sugarbaker, Valley of the Dolls as Ethel Merman’s Helen Lawson, and Fabulously Absolute as Jennifer Saunders’ Edina Monsoon. Whether gracing the stage at the Folly Theater or Missie B’s, Chadwick’s theatrical talents have brought joy and laughter to countless audiences.

As a strong supporter of Cristo Rey Kansas City’s mission, Chadwick is thrilled to participate in Dancing with the KC Stars. He is honored to help raise funds that empower students with limited resources to access high-quality education and achieve their dreams.
