GIVING
Sponsor a month of feeding our residents
Good nutrition is essential for long lives. Over the last two years, we've been able to wok with a nutritionist at Purina to mill a balanced, custom recipe for our residents. Most commercially available pig food is designed for pigs to grow to be huge in size by just 6 months old - this is done with high protein content which degrades the renal system and inhibits longevity.

Sponsor the average cost of a hospital stay
All of our residents are taken to Texas A&M's Veterinary Hospital where they receive care from some of the best pig doctors in the world. Care there is costly, but worth it. Hospital stays include imaging, bloodwork, overnight care and even holistic strategies like acupuncture.

Sponsor a hay restock
When the weather gets chilly, we fill our residents' cabins with hay so that they can stay cozy and snuggle with their friends. Pigs are homebodies and having a toasty home is essential to them. In the coldest months, we do a hay restock every week so the hay stays fluffy and lovely.

Sponsor a week of supplements
With an aging population of residents, supplements are vital for managing signs of aging like arthritis and gastrointestinal sensitivity.
$100Amount
Sponsor fencing materials
Assessing the needs of our residents sometimes requires pulling them out of their neighborhood for more focused surveillance. We are often building 'condos' for residents in need of temporary containment for medical needs. Materials like fence panels, t-posts, zip ties and crates are all essential to have at-the-ready!
