I am grateful to serve as a Mission Ambassador for RIA and to stand alongside an organization that truly listens to, believes in, and supports people who have experienced the commercial sex trade and its many forms of exploitation, trafficking and prostitution.   

Many people don’t realize (or don't want to believe) that exploitation and trafficking aren’t distant issues. The reality is they are happening all around us, not just on the news, but in our own towns and communities, affecting people in ways that are often invisible. The physical and emotional toll is real, and the barriers to leaving are far more complex than most of us ever see. That’s why raising awareness and providing the kind of support that RIA does matters.

RIA plays a vital role in bringing these realities to light and in offering the kind of earnest, affirming, and resolute care that helps people rebuild their lives. I am grateful for the opportunity to help expand that work by fostering understanding, sparking conversations, and ensuring that those who need support the most are not overlooked.

Supporting individuals through challenging moments has always been important to me. For more than 11 years, I’ve been a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rhode Island, and I’ve had the privilege of serving as a Community Ambassador for the Metrowest Women’s Fund over the past year. These experiences have shown me how powerful it is when a community chooses to show up consistently, compassionately, and without judgment.

I’m proud to be part of this mission in my own community, and I’m committed to helping create a future where no one is bought or sold, and everyone has the chance to heal and thrive.  Please join me in supporting this critical work. Every dollar counts.

Not accepting health insurance allows us to be more flexible and cutting edge in the service space. RIA's 2025 Impact Report demonstrates why our unique service model (Therapy, Peer-Mentorship, Financial Assistance) works to help people transform lives while healing from experiences of being trafficked/ exploited in the commercial sex trade.
