Pouring Passion into Patient Access and Cell Therapy Innovation

Catherine (Chittick) Brady, RN is an oncology nurse who has had the great privilege to care for patients throughout their cancer treatment at Massachusetts General Hospital. She takes great pride in being an MGH nurse! Her experience spans both inpatient and outpatient oncology settings, including practice in the specialty areas of hematologic malignancies, bone marrow transplantation, and advanced cellular therapies such as CAR-T and TIL. She is excited by the advances taking place for oncology patients- much of which, is being studied and developed by innovative research labs and teams in our own backyard in Boston!

Today, Catherine works with Shields Advanced Therapies, as a nurse educator, collaborating with the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute and MGH Cellular Immunotherapy Program to expand awareness and access to innovative cell therapies. She is passionate about empowering patients and clinical teams through education and advocacy. Her goal is to empower equitable, timely, and optimal patient access to treatment. Catherine is proud to support Cancer Support Community Massachusetts and its mission to provide support, connection, and resources to individuals and families impacted by cancer. Fueled with hope for patients’ past and future, she is ready to raise a glass!
