The Squash & Pickleball Tournament is part of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Virginia’s “THE NEXT BiG THING”, an event benefiting our 1,500+ Club members and families. Join us to compete, spectate, and celebrate the Club!
It costs around $2,250 to support one Club member for an entire year. Generous community support helps us maintain affordable membership fees of only $35 or less per year.
When you register your squash or pickleball team, you have the opportunity to create a team fundraiser. We’re challenging every team to raise $2,250 to support one Club member for a year (this is not required, but highly encouraged!). When you create your fundraiser, you’ll have a team page to share with your family, friends, colleagues, and businesses. Encourage them to support the Club by supporting your team, and most importantly, HAVE FUN! Creative, catchy, and funny team names encouraged. Team registration costs count towards team fundraising total.

Squash & Pickleball
Saturday, April 12th at 12PM
Who: Open to all skills levels.
What: Round-robin & bracket-style play. All players guaranteed at least two matches.
Where: Albemarle Campus Club - 195 Lambs Lane, Charlottesville, VA 22901
Cost: $50/player.
Time: Expect tournaments to last between 3-4 hours.

Team Registration: Click here After check out, when the registration asks for your guests' names, please list your 2 additional teammates. Your team should include one player per skill level: 4.0+, 3.0-4.0, and 2.0-3.0. Your trio will be paired with a Boys & Girls Club Squash Team member to create your team of 4!
Format
The squash tournament consists of teams competing in singles match play. Teams include 4 players:
- Player 1: 4.0+
- Player 2: 3.0 - 4.0
- Player 3: 2.0 - 3.0
- Player 4: Boys & Girls Club squash team member!
Your team will compete in singles match play against another team, with the corresponding skill level players on each team competing against one another. I.e. Player 1 from Team A competes against Player 1 from Team B, and so forth. All matches will be “Best 2 Out Of 3”. In the event of a tie (each team has two players win their match), the tiebreaker will be total team points scored.
Pickleball Tournament
Capacity: 24 Teams

Select your pickleball division. After checkout, when the registration asks for your guest’s name, please list your pickleball partner.
Beginner Registration (recommended skill level 2.0 - 3.0)
Open Registration (recommended skill level 3.5+)
Format
The pickleball tournament consists of two divisions:
- Beginner (recommended skill level 2.0 - 3.0)
- Open (must be 3.5+)
Both divisions include group play and elimination brackets.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Virginia reserves the right to adjust tournament format.
