Belle and Sparrows has been lovingly serving alongside Heidi and Carlos Fernandez of Welcome to My Father's House in Guatemala for the past 9 years. Through this beautiful partnership, we’ve helped build a sustainable business that empowers local women that transforms their community. 

This year, we’re celebrating 10 years of faithfully serving in Guatemala — and we invite you to be part of this milestone. Whether you're a past participant or considering your first trip, we welcome you to join us for a journey filled with personal growth, deep connection, and unforgettable experiences.

Over the course of seven meaningful days, we'll begin in the historic city of Antigua, where colorful markets, cobblestone streets, and Spanish colonial architecture invite you to immerse yourself in Guatemala’s vibrant culture and rich heritage.

From there, we’ll travel to the village of Tabacal, where you'll take part in a profound cultural exchange. You’ll engage with local women, sharing skills and encouragement that support their ability to sustain income for their families. You'll also spend meaningful time with the girls in the high school program — speaking life into them, encouraging their dreams, and reminding them of their God-given worth and potential. This hands-on experience is as much about learning from their resilience and faith as it is about teaching.

We’ll also have the opportunity to serve in the nearby community of La Reyna, where we’ll come alongside families in practical and relational ways, offering hope and tangible help. In San Lucas, we’ll visit the senior adult community — a deeply moving experience where we’re able to honor and uplift the elderly through prayer, conversation, and presence. These moments of connection reflect the heart of what it means to serve humbly and love deeply.

Our trip concludes with a free day retreat at one of Guatemala's stunning landmarks.—it’s the perfect day to rest, reflect, and celebrate all that God has done through this journey. 

Scripture calls us to go and make disciples, but it is love that compels us to move. We love because He first loved us. We serve because we are called to humbly love one another.
