Beardsley Farm utilizes the help of over 1,500 volunteers each year and we welcome volunteers of all skill levels to get involved.  Volunteers assist the Farm with everyday tasks, including watering, weeding, harvesting, planting, and general maintenance of the grounds. Tasks will vary day to day and season to season, and we try to make sure the work is meaningful and educational; however, flexibility is encouraged! 

Be sure to wear closed-toed shoes (no sandals) and clothes that allow you to move and get dirty. Dress for the weather and don’t forget your sunscreen and water bottle!  Note: volunteer hours change seasonally and are weather-dependent. For large groups of five or more volunteers, please email Beardsley.Farm@knoxcac.org at least a week in advance to schedule. We welcome youth and adult groups from schools, colleges, religious organizations, local businesses, and more.
