Art Spark Texas is halfway through a powerful statewide Needs Assessment focused on the needs, hopes, and barriers experienced by artists with disabilities — especially young adults aged 18–30.
This community-led research project was originally funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts. But a sudden loss of $50,000 in federal funding has put the future of this work in jeopardy.
We need your help to finish what we started.
Your gift will support:
-
Final interviews with peer advisors and artists
-
Accessibility and analysis of community data
-
A free, public report shared with other arts and advocacy groups
The arts aren’t a luxury. They’re a path to belonging, leadership, and justice.
