Join us as [alt_ ] and Tyler Morgan Studios present a sustainable, artist-led showcase celebrating Chicago’s fashion and community in the Austin neighborhood at Alt Space Chicago.

Founded on the principles of design, culture, sustainability, and collaboration, the Area 25 Fashion Experience reimagines fashion as a shared ecosystem rather than a finished product. Too often, artists are brought in at the end of the process. a.25 challenges that norm. Here we center artists as essential architects of the environments we inhabit, fashion included.

Rooted in Chicago’s Austin neighborhood, and presented in collaboration with Tyler Morgan Studios (TMS), a.25 creates a cross-gender, cross-generational experience that affirms what already exists: Chicago’s fashion scene is thriving. This platform fortifies that truth by bringing community, craft, and vision into the same room.

The collection utilizes denim from The Denim Project in Guatemala, sustainably sourced in partnership with Dark Matter Coffee, highlighting how global materials and local creativity can work in harmony. The result is a fashion ecosystem where sustainability is not an afterthought. It is woven into every stitch, and choice becomes the standard.

a.25 invites designers and guests alike to look at clothing differently: to find inspiration in uniqueness, honor individuality, and recognize fashion as both personal expression and collective care.
