Introduction
Anoka-Champlin Firefighters Relief Association is a nonprofit focused on public safety, community engagement, and relief programs for those men and women serving within the Anoka-Champlin Fire Department.
The Anoka Champlin Firefighters Relief Association is headquartered in Anoka, Minnesota. Our nonprofit organization is notable for its healthy financials, with spending focused directly on the firefighter and community programs to support equipment purchases, scholarships for local high schools, and retiree benefits for Anoka Champlin firefighters who are now retired.
Mission Statement:
“The Anoka Champlin Firefighters Relief Association responsibly and ethically manages the pension benefits for its members, both past and present. This is done with the highest level of commitment to our community and our members. The future financial assurance serves as a small token of appreciation for those who vowed to answer the call when their community needed them most.”
Working Across Our Anoka Champlin Communities
The Anoka Champlin communities are not just where many Relief Association members live, it’s also were we serve as active or retired firefighters. Taking the dedication we all have for the fire service and the protection of our communities is also the mindset we all take to supporting the needs of our brotherhood and the members of our community.
The Relief Association programs and related events raise money for critical firefighting equipment, advanced fire training, and community or local scholarships.
While the Anoka Champlin Firefighters Relief Association communicates and collaborates closely with the fire department, fire board, and local government agencies, we are a discrete and separate nonprofit organization.
- Firefighter Support – focused on the well-being and needs of our current and retired firefighters, the Relief Association provides support and opportunities for our brotherhood to band together to support each other.
- Anoka Champlin Scholarships – staying in touch with students in our local high schools, the Relief Association offers financial aid and related scholarships for students moving into post-secondary education.
- Online Donations – helping to support our events, programs, and related services by way of monetary donations is one way the Relief Association continues to serve. Donate via this website to show your support.
- Community Events – supporting a fundraising event, providing food for firefighters on scene for extended periods, or just working together to help those in need are just a few ways to get involved.
