Sr. Hrosvitha, the historian for her 10th century convent at Gandersheim, feels compelled to write more than just research on the Ottonian family, and she is visited by Muse who helps Hrosvitha realize her creative dreams; however, Hrosvitha must write her poetry and plays as a “side hustle”--in secret at night and in her “off-time” from convent duties.
