Dust off your lederhosen and raise your steins—Vantoberfest is rolling into Wheeling Country Day School on Saturday, October 18th at 6:00 pm!
Get ready for a night full of Oktoberfest cheer—festive food, fall drinks, and cozy vibes—all while supporting a cause that keeps our students moving forward.
Thanks to the incredible support of our parents and faculty, last year’s Boots For Buses was a tremendous success! We were able to purchase our first school van!
This milestone has already opened doors for our students, giving them more opportunities to learn, explore, and serve beyond campus. But we’re not done yet. To truly make transportation effective, we need a second van. With two vans, an entire class can travel together in one trip—whether for a field trip, a service project, or a community event—without the need for multiple trips or relying solely on parent drivers.
At WCDS, we believe learning extends far beyond the classroom walls. Having reliable transportation ensures every child has access to these experiences that help them grow as curious learners and engaged citizens.
What’s the same this year?
Expect the same warm atmosphere of camaraderie, plus the ever-popular Meat Raffle: three lucky winners will take home gift cards to Jacob & Sons! (Details and raffle tickets will be sent home Friday.)
What’s new this year?
Each class will be decorating a pumpkin, and you’ll have the chance to bid for your favorite and the winning class will earn a special prize. Plus, create a keepsake of the evening with Charmed Creations, where you can make a commemorative keychain to remember the night.
Stay tuned for ticket details and more information coming soon—but for now, save the date and get ready to raise a glass to WCDS! Vantoberfest
