We Roam Freely and Black Art Services are pleased to announce our partnership to bring sponsored workspaces to our communities. We are offering free 1-3-month shared studio spaces for non-binary or femme artists of color to provide a safe and unique place to foster a rigorous creative practice. Built to strengthen your creative practice the Incubator Studio Residency provides access to much-needed shared studio space, storage, photo/video equipment, and lighting.
As POC artists we understand the lasting impacts of time and space to dedicate to your craft, and the roadblocks in the way of getting there. We hope to remove those roadblocks wherever possible and contribute to the thriving art scene in the POC community.
With this level of giving, you will be sponsoring a WOC or non-binary artist of color for a 1-month free workspace.

Sponsor a Grant
We Roam Freely grants are designed to support and fund artists directly. To that end, We Roam Freely funds the efforts of artists to continue their important work and contributions to society, providing a modest competitive grant of $1,000 to one artist.
This unrestricted grant is awarded to a WOC or non-binary artist of color who demonstrates dedication to their craft. The recipient of the grant will featured in future WRF art shows.
