Advocate Game Strong is a non-profit benefit to help Charita Batiste and her family in these trying times. Charita has been a beloved member of the New Orleans community for years, and has brought a smile to people across the U.S. with her angelic singing. She spent the last few years working at The Super Dome, The Smoothie King Center and OPSO. Due to circumstances, she unfortunately has been relocated back to Houston to be with her mother, who recently has been diagnosed with moderate Alzheimer’s Disease. There is currently no cure for Alzheimer’s Disease, though there are medicines that can treat the symptoms. We are asking for your support tonight, December 20, 2020. Tune into our virtual watch party for Charita and come sing karaoke with us at Tacos and Beer!
