February of 2021 became a record breaking month for us here in Texas. We saw what to us Texans was essentially a blizzard in almost 100 Texas counties! Due to this unexpected snowfall and arctic temperatures in an area of our great USA that this weather is foreign to us Texans had alot of tragedy. Ft. Worth Texas had a wreck involving over 130 vehicles on an ice slicked highway. Conroe Texas saw a whole family die of carbon monoxide poisoning. At last count I believe we had over 10 Texans lose their lives to hypothermia in their own homes, their very own beds, where we think we are safest. In addition to the Coronavirus turning our great country inside out, Texas wasn't prepared for a disaster. Our electric providers weren't prepared for this disaster. Our water companies weren't prepared for this disaster. I don't know exact numbers on how many are still without power or water, but 1 is too many in our civilized developed country. I googled help for victims of the Texas storm and I see all these fundraising things happening but I can tell you this I haven't seen one fun giving away I haven't seen one family helped by one dollar raised for anybody in Texas I don't see anything that you can sign up for asking for help besides Beyonce's( give it up to Queen Bey for being the only person to help Texans directly) program that was so overwhelmed with need it closed in one day I believe. So many people all over the country are giving to Texas and Texans are not receiving a penny of the aid.  Let me add this, I've been running Google searches for aid for Texans and I find nothing except FEMA and so far the people that I've seen apply are already being denied assistance.  I thought  this money being raised was to help Texans so why aren't Texans being helped? We need water we need food we need help. I started this fundraiser because I want to help Texans directly . Texans need money they need money for diapers they need money for food they need money for bills. Texas needs the nation's help. Each and everyone of us. we don't need money going to fundraisers that are going to help eventually down the road we need it now. So that's the goal of this to give every penny in direct donations to Texans. No criteria is needed except that you live in Texas. Your race doesn't matter your gender doesn't matter how many kids where you live in our big beautiful state,  all that matters is that you live in Texas. Even if you're not in the counties affected directly by the storm the surrounding counties are going to be affected as well so the entire State needs help. Thank you all so much for reading this.
