Supporting Individual scouts in Scouts BSA Troops in the Columbia Basin. Order your christmas trees and christmas gifts early and get them delivered Thanksgiving weekend. Half of all purchases goes directly to the scouts that sell and deliver the trees and products.
This last year the Scouts BSA Troop 2020 was a huge success. With the community’s participation in our Christmas fundraiser, we were able to raise over $5000 that went to individual youth accounts. They used this money to participate in our programs that included multiple overnight trips including a weeklong summer camp, trip to Mt St Helens, over 100 miles of cycling trails in the Columbia Basin, annual registration costs, hundreds of awards including rank advancements, merit badges and 6 Eagle scout projects.
This year we have expanded the fundraiser to include multiple troops and packs. Our goal is to raise $12,000 that will be placed in the youth accounts to cover these costs. The fundraiser is important as it allows youth that do not come from homes with the funding to cover this type of activity costs to participate and have both the experiences and the confidence that comes from being able to earn and pay for the activity themselves. We have again partnered with the Holiday Tree Farms to provide what we believe to be the finest trees that are available in the northwest. We will be delivering them, the wreaths, and other items fresh to your doorstep on November 27th. If you prefer or will be out of town, we have pickup locations in Kennewick, Pasco and Richland that will have the items (except for trees) ready for pickup on the 29th when you make your purchase.
Orders placed after November 26th will be delivered by the next day.
