<p>Hermosa Vista Elementary School needs your help. Each year, the PTO provides classroom subscriptions, teacher stipends, school improvement projects, teacher appreciation,&nbsp;school community activities, and more. Last year, due to COVID-19, we were unable to do any fundraising and our funds were depleted because we continued to offer classroom subscriptions, teacher appreciation gifts and teacher stipends. We need your help to make this the best school year possible back in the classroom. We want to continue to be able to offer these subscriptions, plan fun activities, and implement some school improvement projects. This will only be possible through your generosity. We want to make this a fun event for the students and so there will be different prizes the kids can earn at different giving levels. As a celebration at the end of our Skyhawk Dollar Drive, we will host a Color Run and Glow Party for everyone. Students will get to run around a track, dressed in white, as color powder is thrown at them and they are squirted with water guns. For those not interested in participating in the color run, there will be a glow party with music, glow sticks, and blacklights as an alternative option. We want students to get involved, get creative, and have fun earning money. How can they earn money like a skyhawk? They can wash cars, mow lawns, do extra chores, look for loose change, host a lemonade stand, and spread the word to family and friends.
