Every kid we know is so ready for summer! Kids are ready to run, jump, play, laugh, and grow. Kids just get how important this time is.

At Circus Up, we know that summer programming is more than just fun, too; it helps young people stay engaged, build social connections, and develop new skills. All young people, regardless of their family's income, deserve to benefit from these incredible opportunities for mentorship, recreation, and social development. Still, the opportunity gaps are real. This is why expanding access to affordable or free summer enrichment programs is critical.

Here's where Circus Up comes in! While we've faced challenges this year like so many other nonprofits, we're also grateful to have strengthened our network of support, made up of people like you and organizations like The Lenny Zakim Fund, for example.

Why we need you!
The Lenny Zakim Fund has generously awarded Circus Up a Challenge Match Grant of $2,500! This means that if we can raise $2,500 by the end of August, LZF will make a matching donation to Circus Up! This will be so important as it will help us expand our summer programming while continuing to pay our staff and coaches equitable wages. Sounds good, doesn't it? We're thrilled to share that Circus Up has received a 2026 Cummings Foundation Grant that will total $75,000 over three years!

We're so honored to be among a network of over 150 nonprofit organizations in New England who received this award. With this support from The Cummings Foundation, we're excited to expand our programs and welcome more Boston youth to our circus family!

Circus Up is a recipient of EmVision Productions 2026 EmVisionary Grant Program. The EmVision team has taken the time to document the hard work our staff and students do, and the myriad of ways in which it pays off.
