Circus Up in the News!

Circus Up was featured on the Boston Globe as one of the arts organizations collaborating on a plan for a public amphitheater in Fort Point, right by the water! Check our Executive Director, Leah Abel, and Program Director, Olivia Hatten, performing a partner acro move at the location of the proposed amphitheater!

Creative Sector Advocacy Week

Mark your calendars for MassCreative's Creative Sector Advocacy Week on March 2nd-8th. This is a week dedicated to celebrating the vibrant creative sector in Massachusetts. MassCreative will also provide you with action steps you can take from home to ensure our creative sector remains strong and our artists are supported.

Join us for Creative Sector Day at the Statehouse on March 3rd from 10am-3pm. Register here for this free gathering to advocate for Massachusetts' artists and celebrate the ways we create, center, and support community.

And... remember when Kirkos performed at the Creative Sector Day last year? Circus Up was proud of how our youth represented our organization, their communities, and themselves in showing the impact the arts and circus have in their lives through their show.

One great way to support the creative sector is by donating to Circus Up! In 2025, we were able to impact 350+ youth through 700+ hours of free youth development programming. Our programs are not only increasing access to the arts, but supporting youth in skills like problem solving, teamwork, and trust.

Kirkos Show!

Don't forget to mark your calendars for Wednesday, February 18 at 11:30am for Kirkos' first show of 2026 at The Foundry Festival! The Cambridge Foundry will be hosting a week of free programming for all ages and skill levels over the school break.

Check out our youth in action! Our coaches will also be available after the show for you to try out some of the circus skills our youth perform.  This is a great way to learn more about what we do as well as have fun with the whole family!
