Nicolette Lim is a tattooer and visual artist from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, currently residing in Chicago IL. They work in fine line black and grey in a surrealist, ornamental, illustrative visual style. Their tattoo work is an extension of their interdisciplinary art practice that speaks on the reclamation of bodily autonomy and utilizes visual symbols that capture the melancholy of girlhood. 

Session will take place on a mutually agreed upon day/time (Wed-Sun, 1-8pm) with the artist.

We are dedicated to serving Chicago by providing a place to make with clay and commune with fellow artists and hobbyists. The space is dedicated to providing studios, workshops, and drop-in tutorials to help artists and hobbyists work through ideas. GnarWare is committed to material and conceptual experimentation as a workshop and community gathering place. GnarWare encourages conversations around developing skills and de-skilling developments.

We are a female-run small business, and all of our work is hand fabricated here in our studio; however, some of our components are manufactured overseas.
