Who Are the Friends of St. Michael School?
Friends of St. Michael School is a community of parents, grandparents, alumni, parishioners, local businesses, and friends dedicated to raising funds that enrich the St. Michael School experience for our students, teachers, and families.
Your generosity helps provide classroom enrichment, educational field trips, fee-free school events, teacher appreciation, and other opportunities that strengthen our school community while helping reduce the additional costs passed along to our families.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our St. Michael School community, the 2025 Friends of SMS Campaign helped fund events, experiences, and enrichment opportunities throughout the 2025–2026 school year.
Your donations helped make possible:

Fee-free school events, including the Summer Beach Bash, Harvest Dance, 8th Grade Trip, and Field Day.

Classroom enrichment experiences, including a magician, Whale of a Time, a puppet show, and Maine's First Ship.

Educational field trips, to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, Norlands Living History Center, the Planetarium, Nordic cross-country skiing, and the Children's Discovery Museum.

The Christmas Classroom Basket Fundraiser, covering the cost of classroom basket supplies so families weren't asked to contribute additional items while still helping make this beloved annual fundraiser a success.

The Annual Classroom Auction Project, providing funding for each classroom to create its special project for the annual St. Michael School Auction, allowing students to participate in this beloved tradition without asking families or teachers to cover the cost of supplies.

Teacher appreciation initiatives, celebrating and supporting the educators who make St. Michael School such a special place, including updates to the teachers’ lounge, a stocked snack station, Christmas breakfast, Teacher Appreciation Week brunch, thoughtful appreciation gifts, and other special touches throughout the school year to remind our teachers and staff just how valued they are.
Every gift — at any level — helps us say "yes" to more opportunities for our students while asking less of our families.
