  • 12:00pm: Gates open to particpant for setup only
  • 06:00pm Pitmasters meeting 
  • 10:00pm: Quiet hours begin - No Re-entry 

Friday, April 25th, 2025

  • 6:00am: End of quiet hours
  • 11:00am: Gates open to public/visitors
  • 11:45am: Judges assemble
  • 12:00pm chicken
  • 12:45pm pork ribs
  • 01:30pm brisket
  • 02:15pm pitmaster’s choice
  • 03:00pm dessert
  • 5:00pm: Awards ceremony
  • 8:00PM Site Closes to public/vistors 
  • 10:00pm: EVERYONE GONE GONE GONE

 

Site Information

  • Travis County Expo Center, 7311 Decker Ln, Austin, TX 78724
  • Each team will be provided with up to a 40 ft x 40 ft site (Water and Power provisions TBD)
  • Ash bins will be located at specific locations on site.
  • Grey water disposal will be located at specific locations on site.
  • Trash disposal will be located at a specific location on site.
  • Onsite security will be provided.
  • Outdoor portable restroom facilities will be provided.
  • Tents/coverings, cookers, and all equipment will be responsibility of the team.
  • Each team is expected to keep a clean, orderly, and safe site.
  • Alcohol shall be BYOB, but will be limited to beer, wine, seltzers, & malt liquor. No alcohol shall be served or sold.
  • Schedule subject to change.
